Partner Summit

Embanet is pleased to announce its third annual Academic Partner Summit to be held on March 26-28, 2013 at the beautiful Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. This is an invitation-only event for our Academic Partner community to network, share best practices, and discuss current and future trends in e-learning. Building on the success of our previous Partner Summits, the theme for this year’s event is “Think Big”.

We are planning an engaging two-day agenda that has three tracks designed to provide you with the detailed knowledge and insights you need to effectively support your individual objectives.

  • Executive Leadership Track (Closed Session) designed for institution executives (President, VP AA, CFO, CAO, Provost, Deans, etc.)
  • Teaching and Learning Track designed  for Deans, Associate Deans, Online Faculty, Instructional Designers
  • Program Expansion Track designed for Program Directors and Directors of Distance Learning

Richard Garrett leads Eduventures Online Higher Education Learning Collaborative (OHE-LC), membership programs for institutions seeking to grow their online enrollment and enhance their operations. The OHE program are unique sources of intelligence on online higher education enrollment and programming trends, evolving consumer demand, school positioning and operational strategies. Eduventures is a research and consulting firm focused on higher education, based in Boston, USA.

Richard has more than 15 years’ experience researching higher education trends worldwide, particularly online learning, non-traditional students, internationalization, and commercial activity. Prior to joining Eduventures in 2005, Richard was Deputy Director of the Observatory on Borderless Higher Education in the United Kingdom. Richard has also worked as a researcher in the School of Education, University of Surrey and at the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education, both in the United Kingdom. Richard earned both a B.A. and an M.A. from King’s College, University of London, as well as a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education from the University of Cambridge.
